Product Update (March 2026): A rebuilt web app

Zappy was quiet for a while. The web app is rebuilt from the ground up, and it’s the foundation everything else this year is built on.
Why it went quiet
The honest answer is that we bought another company. Jacy and I acquired the agency she was working for, and that took our attention for most of the year. Zappy kept running, but it wasn’t getting better.
What changed
The web app is a full rebuild rather than a patch job. That matters less for what you see today and more for what comes next — the old version had gotten difficult enough to change that small improvements weren’t worth the effort. The new one isn’t.
What you’ll notice right away:
- A cleaner list - specials, prices and times are readable at a glance instead of buried behind taps
- Filters that keep up - day, time, type, distance, area and price, applied instantly
- It works properly on a phone browser - which is where most people were using it anyway
What’s Next
The web app is the reference version. The next step is bringing the mobile apps up to match it, and after that, improving how we review and edit listings so the data itself gets better.
